When searching for a wedding planner most couples are looking for someone they can connect with. After all we are going to be spend a lot of time together. So I thought I would tell you a bit about me...
Five “favs”:
God, my family, my planner, weddings, Christmas
What is currently in your purse?
The bigger the bag the better, so my purse is typically a mess! A few highlights would be oversized sunglasses, lip-gloss, my favorite planner and my iPhone which I am absolutely tied to!
Describe your personal style…
Whether it’s my own fashion, home decor, or wedding styling, I tend to gravitate toward a high end classic, polished look mixed with affordable trendy pieces. I always start with a great pair of jeans or handbag and then accessorize with an affordable blouse, sunglasses, and jewelry. This way, when the trend fades, I still have my core pieces. A great pair of jeans and handbag never go out of style!
How do you spend your free time?
I love entertaining, being in good company and laughing with my friends and family which luckily all go very well together. I am most relaxed when I am running or walking my dog which I do daily, and my most creative when I am browsing the latest decor blogs and magazines!
Favorite foods?
Guacamole is the way to my heart...my husband doesn't make it enough!!
What do you feel makes you a great event planner?
A successful event is equal parts style/creativity, financial planning, and management. I also believe that a flawless event not only has perfectly articulated details but also runs flawlessly behind the scenes. I feel that a great event planner should not bark orders, “take over”, or push their own style. Rather, I really listen to my clients, help facilitate the process but ultimately allow them to enjoy the planning and make final decisions, and in the end, orchestrate a personalized event that perfectly encompasses the couple, without an ounce of stress or worry on their end.
Something random about yourself:
I converted to Catholicism in 2010.
